Etchells Worlds Team from Australia presented with HYC Etchells Worlds Jackets

Commodore Peter McKenna presented the Etchells team with sailing jackets which will be available at the Etchells Worlds at Howth next August.
The sailors visited Howth to sail with our Etchells to familiarise themselves with local waters.
Andrew Palfrey is a Star Class Olympian, John Bertrand skippered Australia II to victory in the 1983 America's Cup and Tom Slingsby won two Laser World Championships.
After John Bertrand's recent visit to Howth Yacht Club he commented ....
"The Etchells World championships hosted by the Howth Yacht Club are shaping up to be a fabulous event. Sailing conditions are absolutely world class, the local restaurants are great and the people....well, the Irish! Wonderful people."
